Minor spoilers about Deacon’s story/conversation options

Butch:

By the way, who did you take to deathclaw hospital?

Feminina:

I was still with Deacon at that point. Swapped him out for Piper shortly afterwards. He was fine…exhibited no special expertise in deathclaws, but at least got between it and me at one point and slowed it down briefly.

Butch:

Did he have anything to say? I gotta get to know him.

Feminina:

He likes me enough to have done the ‘can we talk’ thing a couple of times, but he hasn’t said anything about a personal quest yet.

Both times he’s told me something about his past it’s been a persuade-check option to challenge him on it, so I do, and it makes me say something like “you’re totally lying!” and he’ll say “you got me!”…but I’m not actually sure if he was lying at first, or if he’s lying when he says “you’re right, I was lying” because maybe he would do that, to throw me off the trail or pay me back for not believing him…so, in practical terms, I still don’t know anything about him. Which is kind of interesting, and I do always like the chance to make a persuade check.

Butch:

The whole “can we talk?” Followed by “after I change into some dress I got from Agatha right in front of you.”

Feminina:

Agatha’s dress is a wonderful thing. Although actually, lately I’m succeeding at even red checks without bothering to change into anything special. Because I am just that damn charming.

I picked the Railroad code name ‘Charmer.’ Obviously.

Butch:

Ha!!! So did I!!!!

We’re getting way too similar.

There was a key red check at the end of last nights quest I had to reload three times to get. Key. For some reason my ugly helmet, which had a Chr boost helped cuz the dashing shroud hat doesn’t. I don’t get it.

Feminina:

Man, we really are too much alike. It feels as if it would be more interesting if we had more divergent playing styles, but then again, we still seem to find plenty to discuss (not necessarily now), so I suppose it’s not slowing us down.

Let’s just take it as reassurance that we’re both doing it right. Great minds thinking alike and all, right? Ha.

Butch:

I had something to discuss yesterday. I thought I was being deep and all.

But then, I also came up with money sheets.

Feminina:

I was right with you! Pickman’s “Thanks, Killer” directed to the player! Moral questions! Good stuff!

But then the money sheets and the disco ball distracted me.

Butch:

I blame myself.

Feminina:

I blame you too. As is only to be expected, considering how alike we are.
